Aborted baby found alive 20 hours after abortion

Ask that the sanctity of life, "Image of God", be restored in the minds of our nation. There is no need for innocent lives to be destroyed for the sake of convenience, where tragedies like this can happen.
Tragically this infant died a day later in intensive care at a hospital in the mother’s home town of Rossano southern Italy.
The mother, pregnant for the first time, had opted for an abortion after prenatal scans suggested that her baby was disabled.
However, the infant survived the procedure, and was left by doctors to die. He was discovered alive the following day.
